I keep Excel stats on all kinds of things UMass basketball. I'm totally lost on what year everyone is: for example, TJ scored 147 points his first freshman year and 146 points his second freshman year. Is he getting a third freshman year? Or, in 2021-22, will he be playing in his first of two sophomore years? He may be 25 by his senior year. And is Fernandes repeating his sophomore year? Preston will be a sophomore. Does he get a second sophomore year after that? It's all so confusing.
A lot of the elite academic institutions have been using FY (first year) as a non-sexist moniker to stay away from FreshMAN and so just go with FY, ST, TY, 4Y, 5Y,6Y,

I went to college with many of folks who has three freshman years.

I get it. It took me 10 years to get my BS, minus two years in the Army.

Just take a page out of the Northeastern book for how they do classes thanks to the co-op program making it a default 5 year university for most.
1: Freshmen
2: Sophomore
3: Middler
4: Junior
5: Senior
6: ...Befuddler?

The top transfer in the country, Marcus Carr, has also committed to Texas. They might be the preseason favorite to win it all at this point.

Wow... Tre's numbers will go way down but it will be worth it to be on the highest stage.

Where is Tony going to coach this year? I am sure St. Andrews Episcopal School has an asst coach opening so mama tre and tony b can be close by!

For those that want to continue to keep tabs on Tre's career, here's a little write up from Texas. It's nice to see someone leave UMass and not throw the university and program under the bus.
I loved my time at UMass and I wouldn’t change it for the world, because I learned so many things while I was there.

From what I heard Tony has been blackballed from coaching in college basketball after how everything went down at UMass. Shaka Smart was going to take him on his staff but was told there was no way that was going to happen
