Gasperini is a monster. He towers over Tre.

Man, Ronnie DeGray looks like a big, solid kid. He could be a real key piece of this team this year
Can't wait to see TJ back in action. Really showed a lot in his ability to score last year and if he picks up where he left off, it'll take a lot of pressure off Tre

I don't know about anyone else, but to me this group looks to have a great makeup with lots of balance, depth, and talent. Looks to be solid at every position. If they stay healthy, I think we have a pretty good season and might surprise a lot of people

We'll wait for ya Preston, look forward to your return

Dibaji Walker looks like he put on a solid amount of muscle from last season, that's for sure!

Carl Pierre looks like a grown man. Damn! Here we go, el capitan!

On the post game show, McCall said about Preston, "He's back home dealing with what we're all dealing with." Make of that what you will.

Did anyone ask McCall about Dibaji?

^ Yes, he was asked. It was a "coaches decision". MM then made a couple of vague references to being on time, academics, etc. Hopefully Dibaji learns from this.

anyone hear anything on Preston? It's obviously not Covid as many people speculated about a month ago. I follow him on Twitter and the only thing I see is him liking pictures of girls in bathing suits or other scantily clad outfits...not saying there's anything wrong with that, but it's been a good month since anyone has said anything about him. When Kolton was out last week with Covid tracing protocol, he was at least tweeting throughout the game, rooting on his teammates...not a peep out of Preston. I get this is different than the NBA where people expect to know what's going on if a player is out, but I don't see any harm with the coach saying it's disciplinary or academic...we sure all remember Cal telling us when Mike Williams was suspended.

I don't think it is academic, as MM said Preston did well in school. I'm beginning to wonder if we will see him again.

There is a third leg - medical/mental health. The school should not be talking about that.

I agree with mental health...but if it's an injury I see no harm in saying it's a broken foot or sprained knee, etc...but totally agree..if it's mental, no one's business. But by saying nothing or by saying he's dealing with what everyone else is dealing with...that just leaves it open for everyone to speculate.

^ Maybe Preston doesn't want "whatever it is" to be public knowledge. Why should it be on the school to prevent speculation of strangers on the internet. The kid is going through something - whether it be family related, personal or he just doesn't want to be here anymore - and he and/or the school obviously doesn't think it's anyone else's business.
