^ Excellent article! Gotta love Samba.

Curious to know why he wears two different colored sneakers at home, but not on the road.

I think I heard somewhere that it's to remind him of his journey from his home in Senegal to the USA. Not sure why it's a home/road thing though.

Potentially limited on how much space they have to bring things when they go on the road?

He definitely wore the mismatched sneaks at the Mohegan tournament. I remember talking to a couple UVA guys about it.

I've noticed them at home, but not on road games that I've seen on TV.

I don't have ESPN+...what's the story tonight?

^ Aside from the Mohegan games you mentioned, he's been wearing matching shoes on the road. Looking forward to Saturday...

Does anyone know our record with matching shoes vs. unmatched shoes?

An excellent seven minutes: https://twitter.com/i/status/1223269726224375810

It's all about the shoes. :)

He is incredibly easy to root for. And if he ever gets a consistent jump shot, I’d like to see what his ceiling could be. Putting up like 9 and 8 in conference play as is.

That's awesome, really well done and what a great kid. He's been easy to root for since he got here. Maybe they'll do a piece on Djery next? He seems like a very interesting character.
