KAEO Brad Calipari (2016)
Re: KAEO Brad Calipari (2016)
When ESPN posted the news, it accidentally stated that little Cal was 6-foot-10. I got a chuckle out of that. Um, he wouldn't be playing walk-on minutes ANYWHERE if he was 6-10.

He won't play, but to have the honor of sitting on the UK bench is an honor and opportunity that many many high school basketball kids would love to have. The only reason he has that opportunity is because of who his father is, plain and simple. His college will be for free regardless, because of who his father is, you think hes actually going to pay a full tuition just because he's a walk on? C'mon now!TruBluMaroon wrote:^ You know he's not going to play, right? He isn't getting a scholarship, not a big deal. Cal could get a staff discount on tuition, but will probably pay full freight! Unless his kids' tuitions are part of his contract.....lol.

Pretty sure all faculty and staff can send their children tuition free. Though I believe they sill pay fees and room and board. However, something tells me Cal would be able to scrape up that money without much of a problem.

Brad is joining DK's staff at LIU, per Jon Rothstein on Twitter. He'll be "Special Assistant to the Head Coach"... no other details.

Good for Brad. I wish anyone in the Calipari family nothing but the best.
