Dig out the Sweet 16 and Final Four gear

Post by Old Cage » Tue Jan 14, 2014 1:34 pm

So who still has gear from the Spectrum or Meadowlands or Atlanta? Or from the first rounds in Syracuse and Albany and Providence and Worcester and Pittsburgh? Anyone have Wichita?

Time to dig the stuff out and start wearing it to UMass events and to games at The Bill. My Sweet Sixteen victory shirt - bought on the street right after we pounded Iverson and friends - is in good shape. Getting it on might be another story.

I have the Massachusetts final 4 banner with the Statue of Liberty hanging up in my living room. Still don't know why the athletic department auctioned it off.

Crap I think i got rid of mine.. Cal was amid a creepy bolt of lightning or something right? It was a maroon T if i remember...

I have a Final Rage in the Cage shirt somewhere too (i'm in the photo to the left wearing it actually, that screen shot is from the final rage in the cage broadcast, only 3 pointer of the game).. I had some A-10 champ shirts, those are long gone as well. I still have some media stuff with autographs of the 94-95 team.

was there for both of the above.. lived on campus 92-96.. amazing 4 years

I don't know how any of you guys still have this stuff. I had every UMASS shirt known to man from that era. They are long gone- disintegrated!

Before a game is played everyone is #1. Except UMass under Steve Lappas which started the season at #100.
You know, say what you will about America, 13 bucks still gets you a hell of a lot of mice.
