Scored 57 but his +/- was like -17. Guess he didn't spend a lot of energy covering anyone.. still impressive though. He was hitting some bombs!

His friendship with Marcus Smart may help him, too.capezona wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 2:25 pm Trey playing for the Celtics summer team

^his friendship had nothing to do with his summer league invite.

Re: KAEO Trey Davis
Since Trey spent the season with the Maine Red Claws, the G League affiliate of the Celtics, I suspect they had plenty of opportunity to evaluate him. Having seen a few Red Claws games, I'm comfortable saying he earned his shot 100%.

I said may help him not that it did. I know where he played and how he did. His friendship may-could- help him through the summer. That's what I meant.PreecherJenkins wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 4:24 pm ^his friendship had nothing to do with his summer league invite.
Re: KAEO Trey Davis
Trey got a lot a props from the announcers, showing some shooting prowess and several drives towards the hoop and effective kick-outs for open shots. The Blazers concentrated on stopping Trey in the fourth quarter, which they did effectively.
Smart decision by Trey to choose the red shoes - made him easy to follow on TV.
He should get a look-see in camp, and staying on with the Red Claws keeps him on the Celtics' radar.

I agree harbo about the red shoes. Easy to pick him up on tv. Kids a scrappy player, would absolutely love to see him in Boston.
