I believe the last UMass alum to play for the Red Claws was Stephane Lasme. Andrew McCarthy was in training camp, but didn't make the final cut for Maine last year.
Didn't Chaz or Put have a short stint with the Red Claws?
Chaz played 3 games for the Red Claws at the end of February-early March 2015

It was such a short stint for Chaz that I had forgotten about it. Good catch.

After not playing in the opening game of the season for the Red Claws, Trey had 17 points (6 of 7 shooting) with 1 assist and 1 steal in just 12 minutes in the second game of the year

Very happy for Trey. Kid is a very crafty player. Love to see him one day make it to the league. Keep grinding Trey

Great for Trey! I liked him here and to see him earn this opportunity is a testament to his hardwork.

I’m planning a trip to Portland so hopefully I can arrange it around a game.

For more on Trey, see current page of Putney thread.

Trey with 28 and 9 tonight in a two-point loss. A couple of his 3-pointers were from somewhere in downtown Portland.

http://stats.gleague.nba.com/team/#!/16 ... 5/players/

Nine games into his stint with the Red Claws, we find Davis is first on the team in APG, second in PPG, first in 3-point FG percentage and second in FT percentage. He has had some nice highlights (they can be found on recaps of individual games) with a nice combination of drives to the basket to complement his stylish and effective outside shooting.

With all the injuries the Celtics right now they have room for a scorer.
