Why hate on Trey? When he got to umass, people said he was overmatched, but he had a nice career here. Then plays for Maine, does well and gets invited to camp/summer league. Kid has always been doubted, but keeps on grinding. Give him credit, he's done ok

Yep, he was subject to the "not a Div 1 player" appraisal by some.

^ Right. One of three players to ever score 40 points in a UMass uniform. And I've just joined the 1,000 post club. Pretty good for not having D1 posting skills.

Only 12,146 behind IV.

Thanks for mentioning your post count, which got me to check mine. I'll shortly be hitting my 10,000th if my arithmetic is correct.

Watching a little Trey Davis today with the Maine Red Claws. Always enjoyed his time at UMass.
Its halftime and showing other game highlights, and there's Put with a monster slam.

Damn I enjoyed some of those games in that era with Trey, Putney, Ricky, Cady, Chaz, and my favorite, The E sho. Time for another alumni game and bring some of these guys back

Plus CLowe, Gaffney, Forbes, Lasme. There have been some fun players to watch over the years.
