Ricky looks like he might be the only real foreigner on the roster. Hope it works out for him. I see a potential for getting homesick really easily.

Watch Ricky Harris

Post by AronMinkoff » Wed May 18, 2016 9:44 am

Hey all-

I am the general manager of a team competing in this summer’s “The Basketball Tournament.” We have a lot of terrific former NCAA stars, one of which being former UMASS Stud Ricky Harris as well as Raphiael Putney. Also NFL star and former UMASS Wideout Victor Cruz is a booster for our team. We really need all of the help that we can get to get eligible.

What it comes down to is numbers. The top-11 teams in the northeast get automatic bids. We need to be in that category. Have to be. And we should be. Look at the talent on our roster.

I need help getting the word out to all of the UMass fans. Please spread awareness, guys, get to see Ricky take off.

To vote, follow this link, click vote and confirm in your email.https://www.thetournament.com/teams/unt ... b021840999

We are working with Rudy Gay and Victor Cruz as well.

Oh yeah, also, if you vote and then go to your profile you will have the chance to recruit voters, and for every vote that you recruit you get a point, the top-100 point getters win cash prizes, IF we win. You only win if we win, but look at our roster and join the cause.

I know Anthony Gurley is on a team somewhere out there too trying to get the votes needed to get into TBT.

Nice to support our own post-UMass.

Ricky's team is still alive in the TBT Tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16 thanks to this crazy tying 2 by former Pitt star Brad Wanamaker at the buzzer..looks like Ricky was on the court during the possession. (He's #5 out at the 3 pt line)

Ricky had 14 pts in the game despite shooting 0-3 from 3 pt land. He's asking any UMass fans in Philly to come out and support his team on Thursday at Philadelphia University against a Syracuse team that is full of players that UMass beat TWICE during our 07-08 NIT Finals season. Lots of bad blood with all the Pitt players + Ricky vs this Cuse team. Game will be on ESPN2 at 7, should be fun.

Ricky Buckets is in my personal top 3 favorite UMass players (became a student/diehard in 07-08) and a truly all around nice guy who I had the opportunity to get to know a little bit, hope some UMass fans can be in attendance.

Watched a little in yesterday's game - The Untouchables were up by 11 early but the City of Gods were up 1 with 36 seconds left and pulled out the win. Ricky had a very nice game, and it was great to see him continue to play well.
