Gary is getting interest from the Grizzlies & Pacers, and apparently has an offer for another run in China.

It's been a while, but potentially some good news about Gary. I couldn't find a link to an article, if there is one.

Was wondering what happened to Gary, 3 knee surgeries is tough. Very talented kid, I hope he makes a nice comeback

I wish him the best of luck.

He definitely has an uphill battle in front of him. He's 30 now, the knee issues, it's a big challenge to get back to the show.

Forbes still keeping at it. First player selected in the recent DLeague expansion draft and headed to the Long Island Nets.

Gary Forbes is propably one of the more underrated UMASS players when people talk umass basketball. Guy was really solid and prior to his injuries, was a good nba player. Hope he makes a strong comeback

First overall around some solid names, good for him - D-League or not, that's impressive!

Couldn't agree more. My favorite UMass basketball player of all time. Could score in a variety of ways and IMO was the most NBA ready player in the last 10-15 years at UMass.

I guess maybe for the older crew (who got to see Dr. J, Al, and the 90's heyday) he's underrated. Not in my book.

Looks like we all missed the news that he was a late season add to the Grand Rapids roster last March.

Gary only got into 3 games before their season wrapped up.

Looks like he has given up on Twitter, unless he started a new name
