It is a slow bball time. Tyler is a great story of a good guy who got His degree from Umass, played four years, was ideal citizen in and off to court. He has been Successful with millions of followers on TikTok, which is one of the biggest Internet sites in the world. Because of his kind manner, And caring nature and ability to interview On social media, Tyler now has a great future ahead of him. Happy for him. Though he wasn’t A great athlete for a D1 team. He had some success and set Great example. He was one of my favorite players when he played And fans similarly liked him. One can go to the year he played and see many posts on the good things that he did. Examples were noted in the posted umasshoops pages Of how he gave autographs and treated fans who came up to meet him. Good news for someone Who contributed to Umass basketball.

Absolutely, I don't think anyone is dismissing him. Just the best known alum was a bit over the top. He was a good example of a student athlete who represented UMass well. I don't think there's much negative to say about him from anyone here and we all wish him well

He seemed like a good kid but I barely remember him playing here. Definite hyperbole. I am also not on TikTok so millions of followers on there means less than zero to me, but good for him

Tyler now has over 1 million followers and 4 million likes on Tik Tok But more than that, he has had articles written in glamour magazine, today. Com and people magazine. They never started until his senior year And even then was mostly a defensive Player. … won an award for his off court community activities…. there are about 70 or so pages about him on the Keeping an eye on Tyler’s UMass hoops page folder. Just was never as good as might’ve been expected since his high school days. However, he was an ideal representative of Umass basketball and a favorite of mine and I would guess many other fans when he played frequently. Just happy for him now is a public figure and a success as it on the street Social media interviewer.

Update on Tyler Bergantino who with his social media romance was again interviewed by People Magazine and invited to be on red carpet at the upcoming big movie premiere of the Marvel Comics movie Deadpool & Wolverine which will probably be one of top box office hits of the year. Quite interesting how social media can make celebrities out of people. Happy for Tyler who is having the adventures of his life and known to millions throughout the world now. No understatement as he is a star on Tik Tok one of the planets most watched websites.

Thanks umassfan_19 for the link. Ryan Reynolds is a huge movie star and quite nice seeing taking a liking to Gabby and Tyler.
The world has changed since I last was at Umass in 1962… social media sites have taken the place of newspapers. Now a little known nice guy Second string basketball center at Umass can in a month or two have a million people following his life.

Interesting story about Tyler and his career.He is now in England hosting the red carpet premiere of what may be the Biggest box office movie of the year in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. he and his girlfriend Gabby were flown out on a special plane by Warner Brothers. One, can easily see 10 of videos of his interviews on TikTok or Instagram. he is Seen interviewing, Michael Keaton, and the cast. And under Tyler Birgantino basketball there’s a highlight reel of his best plays at Umass. Just a nice success story for someone who represented our team well.

Sure like what I read about Tyler and how he acted in his life and Umass community.I root for other good Umass ex players too. He has 1.6 million followers. He doesn’t need me as a publicist. I have 2 terrific sons. Great they found success after 30 too. Cherish the goodnews stories. It’s not easy to find ones place or calling sometimes.

I simply like to acknowledge people that do good things -there has been over 50 pages of posts about Tyler. One can look at page 42 and page 43 of his Umasshoops.com pages About Tyler B. The stories Included about how he autographed for a child his Practice jersey. About how he goes out of his way to mingle with fans and participate in charities and youth functions and about how he raised at the arena a Youngster So we could have an experience of dunking a ball. I enjoyed the stories of a young man who played on our team and not only gave his best at playing Basketball but cared to help in the UMass community
