would feel much better about this one had we played last week - don't like that we've had nine days off - but also think if you give Frank this much time to game plan against an opponent good things will happen. I can see us being a little rusty early on, but if we don't get too far behind early, I think we can win by double digits

I am hoping that the 9 day break has given Frank the opportunity to work Tafara Gapare into the rotation.

I am stoked! Feels like we haven't played in a month. Huge game tonight.

Totally agree. Haven't been as hyped for a recruit as much as this kid in a long time. Once he gets acclimated to the college game, and gets his confidence , he's gonna be a big piece to this team. You can see the potential

And I agree Upstate, feels like a month since they've played

How big is this game for USF? Here's a post from an avid fan:

As promised, I do have a scoop to share. Tonight in the @yuenglingcenter @USFMBB will look to defend their winning streak against the biggest name opponent coming to Tampa in the non-conference schedule, UMass. Plus you can look for the AD and football coaching candidates.

The game just got a bit tougher:

South Florida's Keyshawn Bryant (undisclosed) and Jamir Chaplin (concussion) will both be available for tonight's game against UMass, per Brian Gregory.

Bryant averages 11.3 PPG and 7 RPG, but has only appeared in three games this season.

Chaplin averages 7.4 PPG and 5 RPG.

Yuengling Center is a nice arena and it’s very empty. Not going to be much of a home court advantage for USF. Decent amount of Umass colors here.
