Love to see Thorr back in Amherst. Brown came back....why not Thorr?

I have positive memories of my interactions with him from when he worked with Wally Novak.

I should know this and dread the answer but was Bamford extended? Love to see Thorr here, he's done a great job. This is going to be a pivotal hire and don't have a lot of faith in RB. So tired of small schools like Davidson and the Bonnies kicking the crap out of us.

Quick search says he was extended through 2022. Here we are!!! 3 months and change.

"Bamford’s original five-year deal took him from his hiring on April 27, 2015 to April 26, 2020. The extension goes until April 26, 2022."

^Extended to 2026--we're F'ed: https://twitter.com/collegead/status/14 ... 0834717698

"According to a reliable source, this summer he was quietly extended through 2026 and will get a $25,000 bonus if he’s able to get UMass into an FBS conference. No wonder he’s working 24/7 to get a deal done."

Palm you are certainly correct aboutMcCall and this board. He got far too much adulation despite it being clear, at least to some of us after 2 years, that he was not up to this job.
Also no question that Thorr would have (is) the answer as AD - although I rather doubt he would even come if asked.

The arena was as dead as I have ever seen. Even the 'dance team' seemed uninterested.

UMass crowds have been old for quite a while. My daughter used to refer to fans as quips at games I’d take her to at the Cage, pre-Mullins Center.
