Someone needs to help him with his footwork though. When he plays with his back to the basket he travels by picking up his pivot foot when he tries to post up.

Otherwise, I love what he has done the last couple of games. He seems to have left the mittens on the bench.

Did anyone go to the Sports Luncheon yesterday? Tony was one of the speakers. I wanted to hear him but I couldn't make it.

I was there. Tony is, to say the least colorful and very candid. Only had great things to say about MM.
Said his number 1 goal is to get McCall a contract extension.
There was so much he said that I could not remember everything. He has high goals for the team and future. No question he is a ‘fighter’ not afraid to be honest in his opinions and assessments.

Tony has been discussed in Tre's thread recently, but they're not on the same ticket anymore. Reviving this thread...

Tony got a head coaching gig at something called First Love Christian Academy in Western PA

Their website is, well, minimal

Brings Bishop Sycamore to mind. Still, they got a couple guys on Clarion's (Cal's alma mater) roster

Is this a legit program or a basketball school? Good for Tony, future Mrs. Tony B must be pumped to be back in the 412, they should be getting a nice check from the insurance company and I am sure Tre is killing it with NIL. FUTURE IS BRIGHT!!!!

I Googled the school and it looks like they only have around 45-50 total students in grades 9-12. Maybe all of the students are BB players
First Love Christian Academy is a highly rated, private, boarding, Christian school located in WASHINGTON, PA. It has 47 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 4 to 1. Tuition is $27,825 for the highest grade offered. After graduation, 80% of students from this school go on to attend a 4-year college.

That list is a who's who of no one anyone has ever heard of. Sounds like ripe ground for Matthew Wayne McCall to recruit

They are creating a new pre team which is presumably why Bergeron was hired

I wish someone would write an obituary for the Matthew Wayne McCall schtick.

no problem Jackson 96 I won't call him Matthew Wayne McCall anymore. I will refer to him by his record at UMass.
