Re: Casula to Michigan
The transfer portal saved him from being another Walt Bell. Year one he failed spectacularly with his QB recruit of Gino and the offense was horrible as we all know. Year two he brings in two promising transfers QBs, who both get injured because of his QB running offense. His play design and play ca...

Re: Casula to Michigan
Couldn't help myself, but didn't want to pass this one up. :D ….UMass needs a seasoned OC who won’t change the dna of the offense too much. I guess time heals all wounds as I don’t recall sitting there watching a finely tuned machine last season on offense featuring TEs, multiple RBs and a well oil...

Re: Casula to Michigan
Stop stalking me?! Lol. Couldn't help myself, but didn't want to pass this one up. :D I wasn’t actually comparing their work. Waldron went from the Pats all the way “down” to HS coach and back up through UMass. Casula has been a mid level offensive guy his whole life. I was being a bit facetious wi...

Re: Casula to Michigan
Well, Shane Waldron parlayed being a UMass TE coach into an NFL job, and he hasn’t really looked back since. Casula made 255,000 at UMass. The TE coach at Michigan made 275,000 last year. Don't even try to compare Shane Waldron (who coached TE's for the PATRIOTS before he did at UMass) and Casula :...

Re: Casula to Michigan
Yesssssss!!! I get it’s Michigan but tight ends coach makes more than OC here? Well, Shane Waldron parlayed being a UMass TE coach into an NFL job, and he hasn’t really looked back since. Re: Casula to Michigan
everyone bitched about Casula while he was here and now everyone on X is all upset - I mean they are the worst (or one of the worst) teams in FBS! Rumor is they will look outside UMass for replacement. Couple of football fan boys or girls! Dude sucked and not sad to see him leave be a freaking TE c...

Oh great, the village idiot is back with his special brand of joy. to enjoy some tailgating when Sam Houston comes to town, so there is that. Spit out my Cranberry Ginger Ale with the village idiot comment!   At least we will be able to tailgate with Sam Houston as we couldn't with ...

This is why it's impossible to look at next season. We won't have any idea what the team looks like until the season starts. A lot of new players...

Re: 2023 Game 12: UConn
At least UMass won't finish last in the FBS this season. There was some improvement but not enough to warrant any excitement for next season. Brown said in his post game conference that he's staying with this staff. Tired of all the mistakes, penalties, chipiness and overall bad football. UConn is ...

Re: 2023 Game 12: UConn
^Problem is that UMass is the worst defense in FBS. If UMass can score over 30, I think they could win the game. UConn's defense is decent and has some speed. Mora vs Casula isn't really fair (Mora is the DC). And Casula is better than thier OC.. it will come down to what every game has come ...
