Davis

I was able to find quite a bit of info on Trey in MaxPreps.com. Perhaps someone with better computer skills than I can post the link. Here are some of the stats: He was the 14th leading scorer in the state this year at 25.2ppg. He averaged 8 assists and 2.3 steals per game. He shot 60% from the fiel...

2011-2012

It seemed to me that that the season turned on the misssed fast break against Temple with 30 seconds left in the second half. It's a game we should have won. After that loss, the team had no energy. Whether that is coaching or mental toughness is up for debate. This year is absolutely the key season...

Davis

xlgman, I thought the same thing when I saw the highlights. But I think the clip was titled "Davis takes it to the basket" or something like that, so maybe it was a highlight reel of his drives. What I did like about his comments is that he also averaged 7.8 assists per game. One last thou...

Davis

I agree. My post wasn't clear. I wasn't concerned about Davis, I was just making the point about why Gibbs failed and why we have had so much trouble in the past trying to have players make a position change. If he has PG skills, he will be a great back up to Chaz and should push Chaz to be even bet...

Gibbs

I don't want to turn this into a David Giibs thread, but the theory of converting a 2 guard to a 1 is an interesting topic. I work with a guy who was an AAU coach in CT and was familiar with Gibbs. He told me before Gibbs ever arrived on campus that he would not make it as a point guard. He gave 2 r...

OOPS. I meant GW, not Georgetown.

Trey Davis

As unlikely as it may be, there are two players named Trey Davis in the 2011 class. The Davis who committed to Georgetown is a 6'0" point guard. The other Trey Davis is a Richmond commit, and he is a 6'4" guard. I don't know which one tweeted, but neither Davis is in the same league as MoM...

Hawkins

I think he can proably help us, but we all need to keep in mind that this is Sean Carter's final season. I hope DK is spending a lot of his recruiting efforts on finding a replacement. That has to be the number one priority.

2011-2012

While this article is much more in depth than what we usually see, I think he missed a few key points. I don't think he projects Putney to be as significant as most of us do and he doesn't mention Morgan at all. I think Jesse has the potential to score in double figures this year. He also doesn't me...

Lasme

Chris, you beat me to it. Lasme was not a transfer, just an athlete that had to learn how play basketball at this level. He didn't turn out too badly, did he.

KAEO Kennedy Meeks 2013

According to Rivals.com we have offered. He is a 6'8" 250 lb center from Raleigh, NC and is 4 star, #41 in the class of 2013. He has a chance to grow another couple of inches by 2013. With the name Kennedy, he is a sure thing to come to Massachusetts.

2011-2012

Swampy was being a bit tougue-in-cheek. A month or so ago, there was speculation from players tweeting, etc. that a couple of them might be leaving. As far as we know, all finished the school year still enrolled and thus far we have no confirmed reports of anyone leaving. We'll know in late August.

schedule

You are correct, LS. Right now we have fewer season ticket holders than the capacity of the cage so season ticket holders will not get turned away. If we get more season ticket holders than the cage will hold, we will be thrilled to play all of our games at the Mullins Center with crowds of 5,000 or...
