TOO MANY OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS!!!!!!!!!!
WAY TOO MUCH TIME JUST WATCHING THE BALL AND NOT BOXING OR EVEN CHASING!!!!!!

Our game winning defensive play came off a GW offensive rebound.

^ I'd be thrilled to get Edmond Sumner, but from the little footage I've watched on both of them, I would be even happier to get Beard. He's a lot like a bigger version of Chaz. Edit: Getting someone from Arkansas to come all the way up to Amherst, MA to visit is a great sign. You don't make that t...

I hope DK noticed that Trey can play at this level and allows Chaz the rest he needs to more effective.

You guys are right...he must suck if he's a Mickey D AA nominee. Clearly a waste of a scholarship. In all fairness...fairness to who...you self styled "experts"? Certainly not to Seth. He's one 800...hmmm 800 out of how many high school basketball players? Marcus Mathews was nomina...

InnervisionsUMASS wrote:Being in the top 25 of your state is still a pretty damn good thing. But I do agree with you, those who make the team are typically leaps and bounds better than the general nomination pool.
Unless your state is like Massachusetts and there aren't 25 Division 1 players in it.

Izzy should have redshirted this year to improve his physique and low post game, thats just my opinion though. Basketball rarely redshirts players, UMass probably redshirts more than 90% of D1 teams. With the limited amount of scholarships, you need them all each year, you can't divide them over 5 ...

Feeman isn't "academic scholarship" worthy based on his current status.
Not many non-qualifiers get an "academic scholarship". Financial is still good money.

Those mid-70's teams had a lot of good players, but that was the era of 3 years of eligibility, no dunking, fewer games played. Pyatt had some hops, always liked Murphy (died so young, like Eldridge) and Town, but I don't think that they are Top 10. In that era, some guy named Pitino was a very goo...

Trigger Burke doesn't belong in a top 100 list of UMass players, let alone top ten. The only reason his number is retired is because he gave 100K to build the UMass Sports Hall of Fame. it had nothing to do with his basketball acumen. Check out his career stats. It was a disgrace when Marcum retire...
