Maybe, but maybe it was also TV getting sick of trying to force it to Cady inside and deciding to do it himself on his senior night.

I also never said DK was horrible at in game adjustments and did nothing right, but that is where his weakness is. He may make one or two good adjustments, but there ...

^ It's not an issue of motivation, its about preparation and in game adjustments. I'm a DK fan and am glad he's here, but there's no doubt that he needs work on adjusting during the game.

^ this is what is so good/bad about the expansion to 68 teams. It's good for teams in our position that want to get in and excite a hibernating fanbase. It's bad because the bubble talk no longer is about really good teams that are clearly deserving and fighting it out, it's more or less a bunch of ...

Early in the game, when it was about 10-2 and Xavier was out-rebounding us 8-0, DK took a timeout and I remember them showing DK and he looked furious. I'm not sure what he told them in the huddle, but from then on the rebounding was pretty even.

I hope DK noticed that Trey can play at this level and allows Chaz the rest he needs to more effective.

Kellogg after the game: "“He’s one of those players that I think his confidence is better than maybe he actually is, which makes him better,” Kellogg said. “He proved now, and he’s proved in a ...

So lucky to get out of there the way we rebounded and shot free throws. We definitely got bailed out by the 3, but this team gutted out a win at a really tough place to play and that's all that matters.

EBox, as for Lappas, I agree that he seemed to enjoy talking more about what the teams did wrong ...

I try not to pay too much attention to this realignment business until something concrete comes out, but I'd like to know some opinions from people that know much more about this than I do:

Why are we always talking exclusively about the big east and the possibility of joining or not joining? Why ...

"Stats show UMass basketball better off in slower games since Jesse Morgan injury" - http://www.masslive.com/umassbasketball ... ll_be.html

Well researched article from Plumer that breaks down how we perform in high possession and low possession games.

I'm glad someone got this going. Riley has been way better than I expected since Jesse went down, but of the two seniors, TV has done so much more with less attention. His game is so much fun for me to watch with solid low post moves, sweet little turnaround bank shots, and now a pretty consistent ...

In the second half of the Temple game, it may have disrupted the rhythm he was in. He was so dominant that there was almost no reason not to get him out on the floor as soon as they started play.

^ He also has some pretty good mentors and colleagues to reach out to if he needs advice (Cal, Larranaga, Bruiser to name a few). The coaching tree should not be underrated.

DK talked about why Cady disappeared in the second half of the Temple game, and why he doesn't start:

- He said Cady did get some looks in the second half, but got stripped twice and guys weren't looking for him as much as they were in the first. (I also noticed more double teaming as soon as he ...

I am firmly in the camp that likes coach Kellogg and wants him to stick around. I believe it was 78 that said the Cal years were an anomaly, and that we're more of a 2 NCAA's every 10 years kind of program. If that is true (and I agree), then coach Kellogg is exactly the kind of guy I want as a fan ...

As I watched the final play I thought: Shame on DK for running the same old predictable play against such a well coached team, shame on Chaz for being so wildly out of control and forcing it, and shame on Freddie for not being smart enough/panicked that he didn't shoot.

That's a pretty ...
