If McCall's entire value as a HC is tied to Tony and his recruits, then that's 100% on McCall and demonstrates that there's absolutely no reason for him to be the head coach of this program. Just take the path that gives this team the best chance of being successful next year ...

Why wouldn't you give TB a chance at HC if he can keep Tre? Who the hell knows if he can coach at this level, but that's the only world in which we're competitive next year, and I'd imagine Bamford doesn't want both football and basketball to be total dumpster fires.
