Re: Conference Realignment

Gawd!!! I hate the "any port in a storm" thinking. CUSA really doesn't do it for me...besides the fact that it doesn't make geographical sense to me I don't like the idea of rubbing elbows with Falwell U...sorry just my opinion! I'd much rather the MAC. I happen to agree with your "a...

Re: The football future poll

Mostly true statement here, but the thing is that we do not need to give a shit like the rest of the country. we just need to give enough shit to fill a 30k seat stadium to 80% capacity. Ummm, first off, we can't fill a 17K seat stadium to 80% capacity. Secondly, just about everything surrounding t...

Re: The football future poll

The crux of that story is right on the money - The northeast does not give a shit about college football like the rest of the country does. It never really has and it never will. Drop the mic.... Re: Conference Realignment

Reading X which I likely shouldn't, in all honesty who have we pissed off in the college athletics world? Unclear why we are like kryptonite? Is it because we spurned CUSA in the 90's? My maroon glasses are on but don't we have more to offer than some of these other schools? Not Delaware though as ...

If we are still stuck by next year, I think he will make the move.

............. And it will be too late to get into a conference by then. The damage will already have been done.

Re: The football future poll

Just google and read "UMass football crosses the Rubicon" written in 2013. That succinctly explains it. Found that. https://www.wbur.org/cognoscenti/2013/12/05/college-football-peter-may I'll read it further over lunch. At 10 years old, is there any part of that piece's general premise th...

Re: Game 5, 2023-24: South Florida (12/2)

Really not a fan of this large gap in the scheduling. Really strange. At least schedule one midweek game this week. It is not uncommon though, they had a 9 day gap last year as well. I actually think it is not a bad thing from a coaching perspective. You get some live action under your belt, now yo...

Re: 2024 Season

It is an interesting schedule.

At least Georgia is late. No excuses for getting beat up and "wrecking" their season getting beat up early - Toledo will not be a pushover in game #2 however.

Re: 2023 Game 12: UConn

The most intensity from this game has been the twitter feud that the collective guy has against anyone challenging him. Showing off like a total clown. For those not on Twitter, what’s the detailed update here? We’re curious to know Basically the football collective guy is pandering how he is the s...

Re: 2023-24 Season

Can one of the old-timers on here (you know who you are) give me a brief synopsis of the roster and outlook for the season? Hope everyone is doing well and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! In brief, we have a pretty talented roster with a decided lack of depth in the front court. For me, it all h...
