Re: KAEO: Javohn Garcia
No updates on him on 247Sports. I wonder what he's going to do next year.

Re: George Washington scrapping Colonials nickname
I put something in the basketball section about this. Tried to delete but couldn't figure it out.
Hope they follow the lead of the Washington Redskins -> Washington Football Team and go with the nickname George Washington University Basketball Team for a couple of seasons.

George Washington University Basketball Team
They'll no longer be the Colonials. Hopefully, they'll go with The George Washington University Basketball Team for an obnoxiously long time.

Re: If McCall is relieved of his duties
Wow, that is a lot cheaper of a price than I would've expected for that house.
That house would be 1.2 million easily in Colorado.

Re: 2022 World Cup
Interesting about Iran. I wonder if they'll have a pretty good crowd in Qatar?

Re: 2022 World Cup
Alright, Group B is decided - Wales, United States, Iran, England. Mon Nov 21 - vs. Wales. Fri Nov 25 - vs. England. Tues Nov 29 - vs. Iran. I wasn't too impressed with Wales yesterday, had it not been for some stellar goalkeeping, they would've gotten drubbed by Ukraine. However, I have a hard time...

Re: 2022 World Cup
Group B final spot will be decided on Sunday. The last 20 minutes or so of today's match was super entertaining. I'll hold off on saying who won it though, just in case it'd spoil it for someone. Looking forward to seeing who ends up in the U.S's group.

Probably shouldn't let her watch the Finals this year. That will only reinforce bad behavior.

Sounds like a heckuva conversation. Glad he impressed you, Tom. I'm really psyched for the upcoming season.

Re: Boston Bruins Game 7
You can have my spot on the Avs bandwagon. Avs (and Nuggets) station not in TV package because of a 3 season on-going dispute between XFinity and Dish vs. Kroenke's station. I casually root for Makar and the Avs, but it won't mean much to me if they win it. Bourque's Stanley Cup win with the Avs is ...

Good luck to Tre, but he's playing for one of the all-time douches of college hoops. Screw him for wanting to exclude the teams who make the tourney what it is: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10015558-bob-huggins-suggests-separate-ncaa-basketball-tournament-for-major-schools Will enjoy watching...

Here's what I found out about Rahsool when googling Hurley's policies on playing freshmen. The upshot is that he wasn't wowing them enough in practice to break the rotation: https://www.ctinsider.com/uconn/article/How-playing-time-for-UConn-freshmen-Rahsool-16768121.php Woodley - 12.2 mpg last year....

Re: 2022-23 roster
A lot of discussion in the 2022 thread about whether or not we need another big. I vote yes. Let's take a look at what we have, mostly based on size/bulk. I don't know what we'll get out of any of the new guys so I won't speculate. We do have a clue, however, about the returnees. Leveque & Wood...

Re: 2022 Recruiting
We don't need another big, we need more reliable scoring if anything. Remember the 1996 team? They had Camby, Weeks, and Dingle. That's it for bigs. It's a guards game, mostly.
