Wow--athleticism reminds me a bit of Eddie Jones.

This kid is a freak athlete who has a great feel for the game. Looks like a GREAT addition.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he already has some experience in this role. I remember him doing a very good job.

There's also the counter-factual: solid, or exceptional, D1 players who had very little success as college coaches. I can think of many--including a very successful player who reached the Elite Eight as his team's starting point guard.
