Re: 2026 Recruiting
Or you could just open the link.
As someone already mentioned, the link doesn’t work due to some age restriction bs
Not sure what that means, it opens up just fine.
If you're not logged in it brings you to an Age Restricted screen where you see nothing other than a directive to log ...

Game is on ESPN Plus so it's a pretty easy one to catch if you've got the time!

Based on this one data point, I will extrapolated that we'll win by 20 instead of 2.tdmass wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 3:30 pm Wouldn't rely on that ESPN conundrum, they had us losing to FSU by 22%
This is good science. Please don't check the science.

Re: Game 12, 2025-26: Kent State (12/20)
I think it’s kind of cool that they “Fly the Flag”. In the A10 there was very little solidarity, and as a fan, I find it refreshing.
On the A10 forum they would refer to it as "P5 scalps" - so it's the same concept.
Ha, that's great. Never knew that. Not that anyone here seemed to know ...

Re: It's MAC Season
Buffalo was a 6 seed in 2019 (and won their first game before losing to a 3 seed in the round of 32, so an expected result). Had they not won the MAC tournament they would have been an at large team.
So depending on the team, it's possible to get a good seed. But that was also the only time in ...

Re: Coach Joe Harasymiak
I almost always give a pass to a new coach. However this team was so extraordinarily terrible that it is tough to have any confidence in Joe. Losing badly all year. Sadly this team could be under consideration for the worst FBS team ever.
Under consideration? No, it has to be the literal ...

First couple minutes of the game have been pretty decent. 7-0 UMass after 2.

Re: Game 1, 2025: Temple (H, 8/30)
Decent movement on the second drive but stalled out. Kicked a nice looking 40 yarder.
Then forced a punt out of Temple. Not a bad first quarter right there. 10-7 lead and starting the second with the ball.

Re: Game 1, 2025: Temple (H, 8/30)
First drive had a couple of mistakes (a couple of near interceptions), but they overcame them! TD to start the season. It was a good looking drive with a nice run game and good blocking.

Re: Average Age of UmassHoops.com diehards
Maybe you could tell new people they are free to browse but membership is closed at this time.
I just have to come up with a better process. There's some people out there who've wanted to join and I shouldn't be alienating them. We could use a few fresh takes.
I think we could use a LOT of ...

Re: Average Age of UmassHoops.com diehards
I'm not helping bring the average age down. Long story short, I've been really lazy about admitting new members. It's time consuming and has fallen way down my priority list.
The alternative: to just open the doors and let anyone in, is not a good one. When I've done that in the past, new ...

Re: Average Age of UmassHoops.com diehards
As much as I love the message board format and prefer it over twitter, I don't think the younger crowd really knows about this site or has much interest in it, which is a shame because Mike does such a great job not only with the board but with the historical database on the main page. If they ...

I'm basically 100% certain I bring the average down because I graduated less than 20 years ago (16 years ago).Floyd wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 1:32 pm Anyone know the average age of posters on this board? Be interesting to see the average age of those who follow the program
