Re: Joe Harasymiak New Coach!
This could be the biggest rebuild in the history of college football. It's not gonna happen in a year or two, and does the administration have the patience?
How did things get so bad?
So we get back on the "need patience" merry-go-round?
Then what that doesn't work, we start all over ...

Re: Ryan Bamford
If you're making your decision on where to play football based on what a few fans are saying on a message board instead of actual football decisions, like the coach, the facilities, dining, education, etc., then you're probably too thin skinned and not cut out for competitive football.
In ...

Re: 2026 Season
Put 75% of NIL money into fatties.. Our pathetic offensive line was one of the main reasons for our horrific season. The goal should be to have an offense that is going to score 5 tds and win the clock battle, which mitigates the need for a good defense. I just want my D to hold teams to 31 pts or ...

Yikes, you have to be a hearty fan to watch this team in that type of cold. I have a feeling the hangar will be the place where most people stay all game :D
Definitely not leaving the Hangar to watch a winless team in the cold. Might even head uptown to a concert at The Drake instead of ...

steve, why don't you take a look at URI's football record over the last 15 years while he has been the AD and not just this year. How does a record of like 58 wins and 103 losses sound. So who gives a shit that they are having a good season this year.
the point i was making about the season ...

Mike, cannot disagree with you more. The reaction of Joe was not fair and was embarrasing.
The kid should absolutely have some extra running, cleaning of the locker room some extra punishment. Sending him on the walk of shame to the locker room is embarrassing the kid. Why would this kid want ...

It's just a place holder word for "soon-to-be AD at UMass."

Re: Ryan Bamford
If he's making less than Ryan, I don't think that will be the case.. maybe Thorr was ready to retire and now instead of focusing on all sports, just focusing on 1 is a no brainer for him. We don't really know the details here yet..
I'm sure he'll be making more here than at URI in both the ...

I think Jayden and Sool smiling know the difference between on court Frank and behind the scenes Frank. Being frustrated about not making layups doesn’t mean he is actually mad at Jayden. He’s just venting that one of these times there will be an and one.

Re: Game 1, 2025-26: Marshall (11/3)
This team looks like an average MAC team at best. You become like the company you keep.
I actually thought the effort was good. The defensive rotations were shit and they can’t rebound.
The defensive rotations and rebounding go hand in hand. Out of position makes rebounding very difficult ...

Since you quoted my post after I changed it will repeat this here, with the point money available in one fiscal year is for the following fiscal year, but same calendar year.

Re: 2025 Season
How could "the failures" have occurred before 7/1 when UMass wasn't legally allowed to pay directly until 7/1? According to every reputable source, everything promised was paid. You've chosen to spread a lot of misinformation on this topic. Maybe sit this one out for a while.
NIL existed ...

Re: 2025 Season
Think that was for all sports with about 62% for football, 30% men's basketball, 3 to 4 percent for women's basketball and hockey, a tiny bit for men's soccer.
My understanding now, It seems the failures occurred before 7/1 because the money was not able to be used to recruit.
How could ...
