Whiny Frank DOES NOT represent UMass well. It’s embarrassing to continually put up with his negativity and demeaning antics.

Amen to Juice Stand. This team has talent, and growth potential with its younger players, HOWEVER, Martin’s coaching ability, in game substitutions, and temperament are huge negatives! His court side BS and demeanor towards players does not benefit UMASS. Please send him packing!

TOTALLY agree with High Peaks. He was a fraud in Columbia, too, but A hole Bamford has a penchant for signing and rewarding A holes handsomely. He's an idiot in the bench area. How about "praise in public; criticize in private". He has to be the laughing stock of the other legitimate D1 coaches!

Bamford is, without a doubt, the WORST AD in the history of UMass/Amherst, and, most likely, all of D1. I'd gladly take the AD of Central Catholic over this buffoon. He's not worth 1/10th of his inflated salary, and should be sent packing, IMMEDIATELY!

Agree...FM should be fired as well as Bam Bam. Bam Bam has almost zero success stories in his UMass time. He did work hard, though, to align us with a lesser conference!

Joleon's numerous, "on the money" suggestions are perfect. Martin's nepotism, terrible coaching, lack of respect for his young players, and terrible recruiting, teaching, and in game coaching strategy has ruined a once proud program. Worst coach in history of UMass basketball!

Players have matured nicely, IN SPITE of the worst coach in the A-10, and probably all of D-1.

Martin claimed, numerous times during the off season, that this was “his team”. It very well may be from a recruiting perspective, however, wrt growing their potential and “in game” coaching, he’s the worst UMass coach in a looong time.
Atrocious, he & Bamford need to be shown the door.

If this is not discerned in the scouting/recruiting/signing cycle, and then enforced in practices, then ONE PERSON is to blame, and his “initials” are Frank Martin.
