Bart Torvik released his first rankings for the upcoming season. He has UMass at 171, behind the likes of Fordham(150),URI(156) and even Siena(162). He has Akron(96) as the highest ranked MAC school, followed by Miami of Ohio at 108. FWIW.

FanDuel has UMass listed at 125-1 to win the MAC, however, Kent St. is 300-1! There is hope for a win on 10/11.

Rahsool leads the conference in scoring at 25.4 ppg in conference play. He’s 2.4 ahead of Reed Bailey(Davidson) in second.

Putting things in perspective,Clifford Omoruyi, a 6’11” center from Rutgers,reportedly turned down 2million(from UNC,Georgetown or Kansas State) to go to Alabama. It’s really getting crazy out there.
