Really hard to think about next year until we see who goes into the Portal and who stays. Have to think the Arizona pipeline for incoming transfers has pretty much dried up. Also have to see improvement in special teams.

Not sure if it's still true, but at one point wins against Ivy League schools didn't count towards FBS bowl eligibility. Only FCS conference for which that was true.

Have to add the Astrodome. Home of Houston football and the Houston vs UCLA "Game of the Century".

Schedule Vermont. Either pay them or do two in Amherst and one in Burlington.

The NCAA could do a lot to fix this by reinstituting a requirement that a transfer sit out one year, except for grad transfers.

Happy with the recruits they've brought in. Need at least 2 more experienced players on the OL. Thought the show itself was much better than in the past. Liked them using a few current players and a couple of recruits.

We have a transfer coming in for a year. After that I have a really good feeling about Haston. Seems like a player who really wants to be here and I like that.

Apparently another UMass recruit will be playing at Hoop Hall, Ahmad Haston our QB recruit.

So far 7 scholarship players have entered the Transfer Portal - 3 OL, 2 DB, 1 TE and 1 WR. To this point, the players heading out seem to be a stronger group than last year. The Portal opens to more players on Monday and I wouldn't be surprised to see 8 to 10 more announce their intention to transfe...

To quote the Rolling Stones, "I've got no expectations". Had them for this season and that didn't work out. Maybe when I see who's coming and going among players and coaches, but not now.

The game was ugly, the box score was uglier. 3 starters (Weeks, Martin, Luis) shot a combined 0-20 from the floor, starters overall 4-32. Oof.
