Re: 2021 Recruiting

I'm specifically referencing the "One-Time Transfer Exception Criteria for 2021-22 Enrollment" section. That indicates enrollment for this fall. They also mention the requirement to notify your current school by July 1, 2021. I see the part you are referencing Kdogg-hopefully this is just ...

Re: 2021 Recruiting

I hope so but that article doesn't line up with the NCAA publication linked above. Here's the specific language from the FAQ: " Postgraduate Transfer Eligibility Q: What criteria does a student-athlete who has graduated with their baccalaureate degree need to meet to be eligible as postgraduate...

Re: 2021 Recruiting

By the letter of the rule in the link I added, grad transfers still have to satisfy the one time exception rule. That’s where the “has not previously transferred” language is included so it looks to me like only Buttrick will be eligible this year (unless a waiver is granted)

Re: 2021 Recruiting

What I read only said “previously transferred”; it doesn’t look like there’s any exception for having sat out before:

Re: 2021 Recruiting

Just saw that the NCAA has put out guidance on the one-time transfer rule for this year; it states that anyone that had previously transferred will still need to sit out a year. This appears to include grad transfers.

Re: 2021 HE and NCAA Playoffs

I'd pay good money to hear Carvel's pre-OT speech! What an incredible effort in OT!

Re: KAEO: Tre Mitchell

OffSeason-what is the connection between Earl Grant and Bergeron? Everything I'm seeing makes the same main criticism of the Grant hire-that he has no Northeast connections.

Re: 2021 Recruiting

Now that there's a blanket transfer waiver in pace, it seems it would be possible to accept a 2nd semester transfer that could then play immediately. The UMass 2nd semester doesn't begin until Monday while most schools have been back for a week or more. If he wants to play this semester, we'd be one...

I have a feeling the players may have also felt this way and it showed in game 2. Hopefully it's a good lesson learned early in the season.

Re: FIRE WALT BELL!

I'd say that's an overly simplistic statement that has little to no basis in fact. If that were the case, every head coaching position would be filled with the same retreads moving from job to job. Not to mention the fact that absolutely every one of those "prior head coaches" was at one t...
