Are you in Madison at the game?

Re: 2025-26 Season

For those who follow this team & know the personnel more closely, the girl who sat out last year & now this year due to injury, would she have been a starter? Sounds like she was highly rated

I'm pretty sure she was there to take Steph's spot when Steph graduated. She's 6'0, about the same as ...

Re: 2025-26 Season

I was at the Friday game. Maine could have scored 4 or 5 goals with the chances they had. I don't know what's higher than "stood on his head", but he did it on Friday. We were sloppy in our own end again, not as bad as Thursday, but bad by UMass standards.

Re: Game 3, 2025-26: Le Moyne (11/13)

I'm not sure if X is any good. They lost to Santa Clara at home tonight by 19. Santa Clara might be good, but their 2 other wins so far have been at home against Humboldt and McNeese so who knows.

Still now word at all regarding why Moss didn't play against X. He played in the first 2 games and ...

^ 54 shots on goal and many were what Carvy calls "quality chances". Our D played horribly in that game.

Re: Game 3, 2025-26: Le Moyne (11/13)

X was picked 8th out of 11 in the Big East. However, 8th in that conference is still a good team. They are currently #90 in KenPom. We have moved up 17 spots to 179 this week. Marshall is 144 and Le Moyne is 330. Keep in mind that KenPom, like most other ranking services can be way off early in the ...

Re: Ryan Bamford

At this point I almost have to laugh about how bad we are. My question is, how bad does it have to get before we can legitimately say, there is nowhere to go but up? I realize there is no answer but it's a thought.

^ Mike, that is fabulous. I took a quick look and it's worth spending some time on if you're a BB nerd like I am. Checked Gapare, the supposed superstar. He's probably the biggest overall disappointment on the list.

^ I think it was 15 rebounds, but still a good game from him. He also had 4 blocks. I was thinking "Hack-a-Shaq" but he was 8/9 from the line.

Game 3, 2025-26: Le Moyne (11/13)

Le Moyne is 1-2 with a win over SUNY Cobleskill (DIII) 94-50 and then losses at Xavier 69-74 and at Bowling Green 60-83. Bowling Green was picked 7th in the MAC pre-season rankings. So, do we have any idea how good Le Moyne is after the Xavier and BGU games?

Looking at the box scores of these 2 ...

Re: Game 2, 2025-26: Albany (11/8)

Our bigs played very well. They (Bettiol, Luka and Clerc) combined for 30 and 13. Size wasn't an issue against Albany. Their 7-footer, Giralt, hasn't played in either of their games. Their bigs are 6'10, 6'9 and 6'9 and they combined for 10 and 10. Now we need to get the 3-point shooting going the ...

Re: Game 2, 2025-26: Albany (11/8)

Nice bounce back game for DHS. He was much more aggressive tonight, but I really don't want to see him on the perimeter taking 3's.

Jayden showed tonight why he is a starter, 10 points, 7 boards and 8 assists. Add in the deflections, balls saved from going out of bound, etc.

Bettiol is indeed a ...

Impressive win!
We dominated just like Maine did night before.
We might have to come up with a different screen name when you post about hockey. Maybe "high sticking" or "icing". We can discuss tonight. :D

Re: Game 2, 2025-26: Albany (11/8)

There is a food drive for tomorrow night's game. Bring a food item and get a free ticket to the Kent State game on Sat. Dec. 20.

They are looking for specific items, but I have not been able to copy and paste the announcement. Maybe someone more computer savvy can do it. I received the info in an ...

Re: 2025-26 Season

^ Agreed for the single game spectators. Season ticket holders were about all that were there. The lack of students at hockey (3 games now) is baffling. I'll be there tonight and hoping for 2,000 students to get the place rocking.
