I like our chances a lot if Freitag doesn't play. It's hard to replace 20 points per game. He is listed as "questionable" on a few betting sites. If he's OK and can play, I'm not sure we're better than Buffalo and it's on their court.

As Mike said, Buffalo has lost 4 in a row. However, their 4 losses were to Ohio, Kent State, Miami and Akron, the top 4 teams in the MAC standings. Here's a post from their message board. It shows how much they depend on Freitag and how down they feel after their great start (13-2).

The Danny/Parker swap in the last 2 minutes is generally a defense/offense move. In a tight game, you CANNOT have Danny on the floor when we have the ball and get fouled. On the reverse, he is a much better defender than Parker so the switching makes sense. It's just that you can't always get it ...

Unless a miracle happens, I would say that the basketball season ended tonight.

In this episode of "Just Being Frank", he spends some time talking about Danny and Parker. He also mentions Cobb, a 6-foot guard for UNI who he calls a major disruptor on D. We have had some struggles with the press so I would assume that this is an area the team has worked on for this game.
