I still get paper tickets and a parking pass for each game, and it isn't easy. They do accommodate me, but I know they would much prefer digital. The tickets are pretty drab compared to what they used to look like, but that's to be expected.

Looks like we have 6 reliable guys right now. Wimbley played a lot, but he doesn't look the part yet.

Donovan Brown looks impressive offensively whenever I see him. Not sure what's holding down his PT.

BC has had some bad games this year. They lost to Central CT and earlier today they fell behind The University of New Haven (DII) by 10 at halftime before winning 67-63. They have also had some good games, but I don't think they are any better than we are.

^ We were 12/17, which is actually pretty good for us. DHS had a good comeback game with 12 and 9 as well as 4 blocks, but I think free throws are in his head. He was 0/2 and Danny was 1/4. I don't know why, but Danny just can't shoot from outside, including free throws. Everyone else was perfect ...

Hats off to Jayden for his overall game, including 5/5 from the line. 15 points, 6 boards, 4 assists and 5 steals. That's a hell of an effort.

I don't have a subscription. Does it say who the 5 are or any hint as to their positions? Probably not since they can't be announced until they sign.

All due respect to the guys that have left, and I appreciate their contributions, but I'm just fine with no longer having Abdelgowad, Rivera, and Robert Davis. Malek wasn't a good fit, Rivera is too poor a shooter and decision-maker to make up for his heart and hustle, and Davis is a volume scorer ...

The next 3 games will be a challenge. All on the road (2 at a neutral site) against pretty good teams with winning records. Army is 6-2, FAU is 5-3 but their losses are to Miami, Florida and a 6-2 South Alabama team. Youngstown State is 5-2 with one of their losses to Michigan State.

Maybe it's just me, but I would not spend 1 penny on McGuirk and put whatever money is available into upgrading the roster. In this era of "money talks", maybe a few million more of NIL money paid by the school could get us 10-15 high level ...
