Re: Game 17, 2024-25: at George Mason (1/11)
I respect the hell out of OFFSeasons opinions - a lot of what he says regarding recruits/transfers comes true so I know in some capacity he is close to the program but I respectively disagree with his view on Jayden. He has regressed in EVERY offensive category and even on defense I feel like he ...

Re: Game 17, 2024-25: at George Mason (1/11)
This team is not smart, only matched by how awful that officiating was.
Needed a strong game from Rivera but he was mostly invisible.
Shame on Frank for not giving Worthy more minutes, he was much more effective than Curry when he was in there.
Lmaoooooooo I said Ndjigue had a bad game and ...

Re: Game 15, 2024-25: Richmond (1/4/25)
I agree. My point was about this one game where he was way off. He will get the links share of the minutes. We do not have one player who is head and shoulders above others at the three. They all have weaknesses. If those weaknesses are being taken advantage of by the opposition as they were with ...

Re: Game 15, 2024-25: Richmond (1/4/25)
Wait, what? Jayden's value comes primarily from what he does that is not him directly scoring the ball. He is not a good scorer, I do not want him looking for shots.
Jayden does things that help others score, Cohen should send him a portion of his NIL deal for all the entry passes he made ...

Re: Game 15, 2024-25: Richmond (1/4/25)
Jayden is too much of a liability when not scoring. He did great to start the game. Then either wouldn’t or couldn’t get open to score. I think he scored 11 points in about 4 of those 23 minutes.

Re: Coach Frank Martin
Cal was a yeller, too.
He yells but not as often and not as intensely. I don’t know that anyone would say that his yelling drove people away from UMass.
Based on what I see on social media his former players love the guy. To Cal they are all part of the ‘family’.
I could be wrong, but I don ...

Re: Game 10, 2024-25: UMass Lowell (12/7)
This is terrible. They have fight and spirit but they just can't shoot.
It's a game that requires balance and we are profoundly unbalanced. This is very sad because the players have talent.
You are spot on with the balance comment, it affects their shooting, turnovers and the number of fouls ...

Re: Game 8, 2024-25: NJIT (12/1)
Game is in 2+ hours and it’s pretty quiet here, after the losses last weekend I remarked to a friend that the NJIT game could look like a Gerlusen game at the end of his tenure crowd wise…am I going to be all alone?

I was impressed with Speedy Clayton and how Hofstra played …he seems to be a good skill development coach and his players knew their roles…like a Pitino team

Re: Around the A10, 2024-2025
Some interesting scores around the A10 last night:
VCU torched BC 80-55, and St. Josephs, who I think has the best player in the conference in Erik Reynolds, lost at home to CCSU. Brutal loss for St Joes in a year where they're expected to contend.
CCSU upgraded their talent level, are picked ...

Re: 2024 Recruiting
I don't think coach brought in Rivera to sit.
I agree and I wonder if Jayden, who is the ultimate team player, would be OK with coming off the bench for 15 minutes at the 3, with Rivera getting 25 minutes. We have too many bigs, including DHS, for the 6'6 Rivera to play the 4.
Jayden ...

Re: UMass transfer portal news - 2024
I think he is certainly a starter. 8.1 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per games is better than anyone we had in the categories. I understand that Bryant does not compete in a conference as good as the A10 but he will fit in nicely as a 4. We had no rim protection last year and he helps here
If DHS got ...
