WNIT usually does matchups regionally. Looking at the field, I think that would mean Siena, Bryant and Stonehill are the most likely to be matched up with us. While I’d rather Ben Barr and Taylor Makar win, I think perhaps if Northeastern wins it all then MAYBE the entire 2 seed ban would be Hockey East. UMass is a 3 seed no matter what. If the committee was forced to have an all Hockey East first round matchup, it would most likely be in Manchester. So ...

Northeastern just beat BC 3-1; would have been nice to make Hockey East Final 4 without BC and BU!

^ I have a pet peeve with NESN / Hockey East TV crew; when UM plays in Boston, they always say “UMass travels well.”
Metro Boston has a huge alumni population and student homes; we not taking about the University of Maryland for crying out loud !!
