Tom's memories have always been great and important to the history of UMass basketball.... but "profound damage"?? My fondest UMass basketball memories were all the games against Temple and then the A10 playoff and championship games against teams like Penn Sate, West Virginia, and Xavier....

Bingo! The schools and coaches used to be able to screw the players when the coaches left for greener pastures and the players were kinda stuck.. now in NIL the players can screw the schools and coaches. It's fair play now.. it's a buisness

Ever think you see his shortcomings more this year because the team blows around him?? Much easier to hide you have 0 offense when playing with 2 first team all A10 guys.

Plus in this day and age, if a kid can jump ship at any time, even when he says he's gonna stay and the team is counting on him, then a coach can pull a scholly.

The in game coaching or lack there of has been very annoying the last couple years. But Umass had a 20 win season, which was the first in a decade. Yes they had 20 wins.. they also had 2 first team all A10 guys... the leagues most improved player.. and a guy on the all rookie team. And they ONLY wo...

Honestly i think the scheme had a lot to do with it.. guys weren't put in a position to succeed. If we don't sub every down and blitz a safety who's 10 yards deep at the snap of the ball I'll be happy...
