I find myself undecided on what my expectations of UMass basketball are.

Having attended UMass during the Calipari years, I often side with those that feel UMass should be able to come close to that level of achievement again, and we should hold to coaches and administration to that expectation ...

I have no problem with that at all...except for the fact this team has not played well in 6 games. If it was one bad game I would agree completely, but this is starting to become a terrible trend.

If going 5-1 is what we consider a terrible trend now for UMass, I'm gonna be a happy dude.

The announcers said early on that this was the marquee out of conference game for Ohio this year. A fan sent in a text objecting, asking what about Ohio State. The announcers said that UMass looked to be every bit as good as Ohio State, thanks. I liked that.

Agreed. If we can finish our OC with one loss and only have 4 or so losses in the A10, we will be in great shape. It's fun being ranked but once we lose we will be out. Maintaining a high RPI is more important.
