Kennesaw State was on the other night and I think their stadium is smaller than ours. They are bowl eligible.

Bob Marcum takes a lot of heat here for some reason, but he urged UMass to move to C-USA in the 90's and I still believe that was the correct avenue to pursue. It was a sort of national conference and had both strong football and basketball.

There's been a lot of focus on Bamford, the stadium, and the program in general, that I think this is actually be lost in the weeds to an extent. There has never been a serious FBS effort until now. Playing as an Independent set the program back a decade and was essentially starting from scratch each season. It was a terrible decision.
