Re: Moving to the Pioneer Valley?
Personally, I would avoid Northampton and Amherst but that depends on your politics. Hamp is Poor Liberal (who think they are rich) and Amherst is Rich Liberal (who are rich).... and they are hard liberal. I know a lot of good people in those towns, but the town politics are mind numbing. If your e...

Re: Moving to the Pioneer Valley?
Amherst - 27 square miles surrounded by reality (except for Hamp). So I guess it depends if you want to live with other people living in reality or not . So spot on. Loved going to college there and going back to visit for games or just hanging uptown but can’t imagine raising a family in that loon...

Re: Moving to the Pioneer Valley?
I didn't know about that, double bonus! The utilities part of it is good, no doubt (Lappas!)... the cable/internet usually isn't. You'll save a few bucks, sure, but the service is generally atrocious in these situations. Shrewsbury has a town owned utility/telecom (SELCO) and the telecom part is aw...

Re: The Massachusetts Collective - NIL initiative
Just my opinion, thank you Jackson. College basketball used to have mega stars that were associated with their schools because most would stay 3-4 years and there was limited transferring between D1 schools, most were grad transfers. It just doesn’t seem that way anymore.

I never mentioned ratings, I said the overall product has gone downhill since the transfer portal was opened.

^ Other than the fake grass, that site would 've been better than East Hartford....at least from the perspective of traveling from western Mass. to see a game. What a fail for them building that stadium there. On campus would have been so much better because I actually like that stadium, just a ter...

Quann. You do realize that I am just trying to get you worked up? I get the sense that you might actually be a a Uconn fan and there is nothing wrong with that! in all , I actually blame Robert Kraft for UConns six titles as his decision to walk away from relocating the PATS to Hartford in 1999 led...

Re: The Massachusetts Collective - NIL initiative
Just so we know what is happening at some P5 schools. Congrats to Cal - it looks like he'll be able to pay whatever he wants to attract/keep players. From ESPN.com: This is what all these people wanted in college sports I guess. Endless transfers and professionalized college sports. Wheeeeee!!! No ...

This is just plain awful. Like Eldon said they need to make these kids sign a contract for x amount of seasons. Only way to slow down this mess.

It’s the Wild West out there in the berkshires. Florida is pretty, a lot of great hiking around there.

Amen to that. And Will "the thrill" was the epitome of a player proud of his jersey. You won't see that again, guaranteed. The 1991-1992 team is probably the best TEAM in UMass history given it had no big time recruits starting as onlly Freshman Lou roe was highly recruited. Went 30-5 tha...

^^^^ I think you missed the point. Felger and Maz don’t give a crap about college sports no matter who’s playing and never have. And Tony is only allowed to like something if his master Michael tells him it’s ok. They are both grade A certified morons! Their show is entertaining, I listen a couple ...

From ESPN.com: At Arkansas, Calipari will reportedly have the NIL assistance of deep-pocketed boosters, such as Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Tys...
