Re: Portal MBB 2025

Imagine if Diggins stays and Duggan came.
Duggan, Diggins. Sounds like a great sponsorship partnership opportunity with Dunkin Donuts

Re: The Massachusetts Collective - NIL initiative

That statement blows my mind. Same. Absolutely wild. I get that the Collective’s awkward position and need to be a good soldier and run interference on this one, but wow. Fan negativity the problem? Maybe not. This has been common knowledge for 11 months now. And 100% the correct move for all invol...

Re: The Massachusetts Collective - NIL initiative

I'm puzzled by the upsetness in a coach trying to do what's best for a player. Telling Cross to go was the right thing for Frank to do! Long ago, when Al McGuire was coaching at Marquette, he sometimes had to advise a kid whether to turn pro. His answer was: "Go to the kid's mama's house and l...

Re: The Massachusetts Collective - NIL initiative

now we hear our head coach saying he encouraged Cross to leave. That statement blows my mind. Total position of need this season and we already had a guy on the roster who filled our needs, and he was encouraged to leave? Don't they hire coaches to win games? Complain about NIL and the portal, but ...

Re: Game 31, 2024-25: Loyola-Chicago (3/8, Senior Day)

The team underachieved it's talent, and the makeup of the team wasn't cohesive. With a scoring wing SF and a center position that consistently gave us even 10-12 pts/game and a defensive presence, this team would have won several more games. They showed they had potential with the little run they h...

Re: Coach Frank Martin

It’s frustrating to hear public complaints about NIL and the portal The reality is we’ve lost to several teams with significantly fewer NIL resources—or none at all. Pair that with the worst season in 30 years, and these ongoing public complaints about NIL and the portal become even more frustratin...

Re: Game 31, 2024-25: Loyola-Chicago (3/8, Senior Day)

Juice, the only core to this team is Curry, Rahsool, Jayden, DHS, & Worthy. They all seem to like each other and I feel like they want to win for each other. But I don't think there's enough to keep them all & bring in a couple impact players, so I could see this team almost gutted. If by &...

Re: Coach Frank Martin

It's the same for everybody dealing with roster turnovers. The only way to make it somewhat like it was before is a salary cap on players. Then it puts it somewhat back on quality of coaches & programs.
