That 1st just proved DHS is team mvp, Umass getting crushed on boards without him. Way too many offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points.

QB plan needs to be a priority. Hairston looked to be a capable starter.

Reports out there that Joe Judge interviewed. Any other confirmed interviews or finalists?

Re: Game 8, 2024-25: NJIT (12/1)

Rivera should never shoot outside paint. Just focus on rebounding and layups. Play like Rodman. Unfortunately, he cannot shoot FTs from inside the paint. He draws a lot of fouls, which is helpful, but needs to make >50%. Wondering if UMass's poor second half had a lot to do with missing DHS. Rivera...

Re: Game 8, 2024-25: NJIT (12/1)

Rivera plays tough and that’s why Frank Martin plays him. Lead the team in points and rebounds. Unfortunately we gotta deal with UMass fans who don’t know how to shoot a basketball that still want him benched every game. Diggins still can’t throw a grape into the ocean. Yeah we won, but we still ne...

Re: Game 8, 2024-25: NJIT (12/1)

Not a lot of minutes for DHS today. Maybe he's resting up a bit after last week with three games in seven days, this week. ShahMu is having a pretty darn nice game. I want to see him continue to get minutes. Would love to see him continue to improve as we move forward. DHS had a hand injury 2nd hal...

3-17 for the record
Diggins was 0-27 last 4 games until he hit last one.

Yes Watson, last Wilson I can remember here is Kyle Wilson, still waiting on him to hit 3’s.

This game seems like a must win to keep any fan interest going from the diehards.

Re: Game 8, 2024-25: NJIT (12/1)

Game is in 2+ hours and it’s pretty quiet here, after the losses last weekend I remarked to a friend that the NJIT game could look like a Gerlusen game at the end of his tenure crowd wise…am I going to be all alone? Assuming everyone is healthy, I’m interested to see if FM shortens the rotation to ...

Re: Game 7, 2024-25: at Harvard (11/27)

Agreed that the starting 5 played hard all game. 52 points in the paint, 7ft’s and 1 3. Just an absurd way to win but they stuck with the gameplan and attacked the rim. Unreal individual rebounding numbers.

That was an ugly half and they are lucky to have it tied. Still can’t hit a 3. At least they can rebound.

Re: Game 7, 2024-25: at Harvard (11/27)

Could be a case of addition by subtraction with those two guys out. Hoping to see a lineup of Curry, Nate, Jayden, DHS, Shahid get an opportunity together at some point. They were the best 5 over the weekend.
