Which begs the question, how early can we get there? I know at Gillette the official time is 3 hours before, but last year we showed up at 3:15 or 3:30 hours before and there were already tailgates set up, so we got in with no problem. How far can we push the 3 hours before game time mandate? I want ...

The UMassFootball twitter account tweeted that The Hangar and Rafters will both have the game. I'm heading down to one of them from the Berkshires. Any suggestions as to which one I should go to?

So, who's going to the Signing Day Reception at The Amherst Brewery to "here" head coach Mark Whipple speak about the 2015 recruiting class? I think we're planning to venture there from the Northern Berkshires.

We are going to do an "indoor tailgate" tomorrow. The Amherst Brewery opens at 11:00, which appears to be the earliest of the bars near McGuirk, so that's where we're going. Anyone else? The more the merrier.

So what's the consensus here as far as moving your seats to the other side? If most season ticket holders keep their same seats, the desired effect for the cameras is not going to happen. I'm fine with moving to the east side and would welcome the sun on those cold days.

Wasn't UMass hoops the worst team one year in the late eighties? We all know what happened shortly after that.

This team is starting to remind me of the early/mid 90s teams. Even if they are behind and the game is winding down, you have a feeling they're going to find a way to win it.

Unless I'm missing something, the AAC should be welcoming UMass (and at least one other school) with open arms, possibly as early as next year. That conference is currently comprised of only ten schools: Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, Houston, uCon, SMU, UCF, S. Florida, Rutgers, and Temple.
