The scheduling for men's basketball is a disgrace.

Total of 10 games in November/December. I of which is with a Division 3 and one is a MAC game. Thus, in reality, 8 our of conference games. No Harvard no URI.

Women, on the other hand, 12 out of conference games. No MAC games, no division 3 ...

Well, UMass Gives is only an hour or so from closing and UMass Athletics for Football and Basketball donations came in dead last with 51 and 25 gifts respectfully.


As it should be. It's amazing either program saw a nickel given how disgracefully they've been run for the entirety of the Bamford ...

That was one of the nost embrassing displays I've ever seen in my decades of UMass fandom and I won't attend a game of any sport until Bamford and Frank are gone. Just disgraceful.

Bamford is gonna be here forever. There's literally nothing he can do to lose his job. Moved conferences to disastrous effect. Neither men's hoops nor football won a single league game in 2025 ...

Keon drove me nuts at times but this team could have used his toughness. They don't lose that game to EMU the other night if Keon as a senior is on the floor.

Too bad we have another season of Frank because he needs to coach his 1 star recruit son lol what an embarrassment


Irrespective of his kid coming, Frank would be back. Bamford extended him after year two despite Frank having zero leverage to go anywhere else. I'd be shocked if Frank isn't here ...

I am by no means a Bamford fanboy, but I think at this juncture with our transition into the MAC it would be foolish to release him. I think he deserves the opportunity to see how things pan out at this point in our program.

This team is going to be really enjoyable and I think it'll be the most connected group we've had in a while. Cohen didn't defend well and won't be terribly missed. Cross will be but there's a lot of good pieces and depth here and they'll play really good defense. I think they can win 20+ like last ...

slow start with this OOC schedule? we knew to get fat early - I expect to be 7-0 going into West Virginia - maybe one blip but anything less than 6-1 will be dissapointing

20-10 or 10-20. Hard to say which. Culture and fit are everything. Schedule is favorable so if they get hot early they could shock people. If they stumble out of the gate I think it's gonna be a long year. The talent is there, but it will hinge on how long it takes Cohen and Curry to get acclimated ...

One of the greatest people ever. Such a tragic loss. Ran legendary youth hoops programs for the three decades after that staff was let go and impacted thousands of kids in the area.
