I believe Harasymiak is developing a great culture here.

I don't agree with a lot that's said here re FB, but..
If they dont comfortably beat the 2 FCS teams I would not be against dropping the sport that I love and played (HS) and initially attracted me as a fan to Umass Sports in general a long time ago.

That's a pretty low bar for the money!

FWIW: My Umass Football prediction:
We have a good season this year...4+ wins.
Next year we go to a bowl then Harasymiak gets poached by a real football school.
And we're back to sucking again.
One can dream......

The Umass Sports Luncheon is held weekly @ the Berkshire Dining Commons starting at noon.

Coach Joe Harasymiak will be one of the speakers @ this year's first Sports Luncheon this Wednesday 1/28/26 @ Berkshire Dining Common.

Just for perspective.......

A quick search of all FBS football teams average operating budget in FY 2023 was $22.5 mil.
From the last paragraph of this hit piece: "Umass Football operating expenses was $15.9 million in FY25"
