Sadly, there's nothing to talk about when it comes to basketball. When we learn about our three 5* transfers we'll have a lot to talk about.

Well, I/we were in Wilmington DE this a.m. through about 2:30 p.m.
Heard the President was coming there in the afternoon for some kinda fund raiser.
Turned out it was a closed door event at some HS.
I /we were not invited.

Here's my bold prediction. This kid got recruited over at Arkansas and Cal sends him our way, like he did with Big City several years ago. He was a last minute entry into the portal.

ESPN previously reported that Brazile was forgoing his two remaining years of collegiate eligibility to pursue an NBA career, but it appears that he is maintaining that eligibility. Brazile announced he was entering the draft on April 8 following the news of former coach Eric Musselman's departure for Southern Cal and the hiring of new coach John Calipari.

The 6-10 redshirt sophomore forward, who joined the Razorbacks following his freshman season at Missouri, averaged 8.9 points and 5.9 rebounds this season. Brazile is a three-level scoring threat with NBA-level size and length but dealt with some consistency issues that might have hurt his draft stock. He averaged over a block per game.

With the portal sort of closing at midnight wonder if we'll hear some news tomorrow, or at least by the weekend.

While things can still change before October, it'd be nice to think about who will be lining up for us next season.

32.5% of all eligible A-10 players entered the portal. If we assume 13 scholarships, and assume 3 leave because of graduation or other non-hoops reasons, leaving 10, that would mean an average of 3+ per team left.

After much thought, I have finally figured out Frank's strategy. The plan, in general, is to keep the rest of the A10 on the dark. Frank has reached an agreement with the 3 five-star transfers and Matt to not make any announcements. All practices will be closed, and nobody will know what the roster looks like until the week before the first game. Then, all of the pre-season prediction services will have to redo their articles. We will go from 12th to first in a heartbeat.

As you can probably tell, this lack of news is making me a little nuts. I would have thought that we would have heard something by now. Patience is wearing thin.
