It's too quiet around here.

Here goes: Three of the top five freshman players in assists left UMass after only one year. Who are they?
Because of the many responses I know everyone is dying to know - or everyone already knows. Anyway, it's East ($2), Jarreau (#3), and Mayben (#5). The other two in the top 5 are Carl Smith (#1) and Chris Lowe (#4). Well that was fun.

And here's another one: Six players have scored 34 or more points in two or more games. How many can you name?
Nobody wants to play. Here are the six:

Erving 5x
Pipkins 4x
Tindall 3x
Hill 3x
Davis 2x
Camby 2x

Try on this one: Which three teams has UMass faced more than any others (10 times each) in Atlantic 10 postseason tournament play?

I would guess Duquesne, GW, and St Joes.

Yes, it's probably Jeff, but my first thought brought a smile: Travis said that Papa Lo "played like he was 7'5".

Peter Bernard, one of my all-time favorites, was listed at 5'8" which is shorter than the 5'9" listing for Chaz. Peter was a scorer in bunches in the early 60's.
There wasn't much follow-up on the shortest player. I have a vague recollection (and I think it goes back to Old Cage's era) that Ron Trembly, out of Lawrence Central? was on the 59/60 or 60/63 team for second semester. I'm pretty sure he was a legit 5'-6", although back then almost no one was shown to be under 5'-10".

^ Trembley appeared in 10 games in the 59-60 season. Shot a sparkling 20.5% from the floor. I'm sure that I was at home games he played in, but I have no memory of him.

I'll guess URI as they have been in the A10 a long time. Not sure who to toss, but I'll guess Duq.

My guess without looking it up is, GW, St. Joe’s and Temple, but I wanna guess another former A-10 school like West Virginia...not sure if it’s because they may have played each other 10 times in the A-10 tournament or the 3-OT game just sticks in my head.

Combo effort. UMass is 6-4 all-time vs. Temple, 5-5 vs. Duquesne and 4-6 vs. GW.
