SLU is the first team out in CBS bracketology and "next four out" from Joe Lunardi. Senior Night for them. They'll be super motivated, and looking to not only win but win big. Revenge perhaps since we beat them last time, when Santos and Walker came up big. Of course, neither will play tonight.

Do we see some of the big lineup with Tre at the 4 and Uncle Mark at the 5 to combat their physicality and control the boards? I'm looking for Ronnie, Cairo, and JG to come out and have a big impact in tonight's game. All three of those dudes are tough and not afraid to mix it up inside.

You are very optimistic. Not seeing a cover here nor will they get to the 145 total. SLU is too big - they will need their best shooting night of the year to hang with these guys I am afraid.

There haven't been many (maybe any?) games this year where TJ and Carl both shot well from 3. This would be a good time to start.

agree with a lot of the posts. We need to make baskets when it matters especially the 3 ball . seems like we miss a lot when we need them and make them when the game is out of reach. Solid defense, rebound and score. lol

I have a bad feeling about the officiating in this game. Subtle hints emerging already.

...and it has started. Lots of missed calls on SLU while calling it very tight on UMass. Every out of bounds has gone to SLU. Collins travels and they look away, our Russian dude didn’t get the same consideration.
