True, but some not so easy ones, too. Must be demoralizing to play decent D only to get burned by a 3. Too many layups for sure, but damn these dudes can just shoot.

Not a terrible half. Too many baseline drives by us with nowhere to go. Officiating is pretty suspect. I really don't know how to slow them down on offense. They look like a bunch of seniors who've been running their stuff for years. I hope McCall and co. can find a way to muck them up.

They are still in it. Just need to play better team defense and go with a small lineup when tre is out. If McCall can preserve Tre’s minutes and he can stay out of foul trouble, we can use him to close out the comeback. TJ looks good, he needs to stay hot and someone else needs to score.

DD is playing with energy. He needs to play more.

I wish Walker was still playing. His D would have helped tonight.

Here's another game where Tre just wanders aimlessly around the perimeter. He's only tried to get into position in the post maybe three times. What's up with that?

Eh, they're beating us to spots. We're a step slow, and the energy isn't there.

Well this is a wake up call facing a top team coming off the break. They’ll at least know what level of play it will take to contend in the tourney. Need to finish strong and then be more competitive with SLU

Tre and Noah clearly aren’t in game shape. A week of practice between now and next week is huge. We can absolutely beat SLU and go on a run in the A10T

Well we had two chances to get it below seven.

Ugh. If they could have gotten that down to 5...maybe.

We beat them with another week of practice and the game in Amherst. Frustrating, but I think we have a shot at the A10. It is complete horse shit that the league is making us play at Richmond and SLU, but I think we can do it. The key is they don’t let to ight deflate them and can get back in a groove and play with confidence.

I’m really annoyed Richmond got the home game rather than what was originally schedule AND these fucking refs were ready to give every extra advantage on top of that.

Played with some energy the last 10 minutes but Richmond is the better team.

Refs didn't help, but Richmond had more game action and were in better rhythm. That sequence from JG, which would've cut it to five was tough, with the rimmed out layup and undisciplined foul afterwards.

Overall, I'm guardedly optimistic with last year's improvement as the season progressed, and the improvement since the troubling start of this season. We can absolutely make a run in the A10 tournament after taking down SLU.
