100% FALSE!!! I (who started this thread) felt that it was Whip's time to move on--he was burned out on the UMass coaching job. I had positive thoughts on Bell at the beginning but he has even proved those wrong up to this point in time.

I knew it was going to happen when Bamford disappeared from the sidelines and tweeting about the football team season like he did in the past. He was pissed at the BC game when it was obvious the team looked unprepared for the first game of the season!

There was no way for Whip to come back next season. He has left the cupboard pretty empty (hope I'm wrong).This season was his chance to show how much he has grown the program. All he cared about was offense and not about the team aspect of football and I'm pretty sure Bamford saw that.

Bell will be gone at the end of this season after the NMSU game November 27th if he doesn't win at least 2 games. rest assured if he goes 1-11 or 0-12, he'll be gone 2 years early. He'll be bought out at 600k x 2, and we'll know by the EMU game how the whole season will go. I expect Pitt & BC will be blow outs but not the 63-0 variety. If so, then mark your calendar November 28th for news.
