^ As they say, it's complicated. These 2 games are non-conference for the time being. Shootout losses are considered ties in non-con games. They will revert to conference games if we somehow do not play the UConn games in January. Under HEA rules, this would be a loss so let's hope we play the UConn games in January.

Hope that explains it.

Away then home with Chestnut Hill Prep this weekend! Six on Friday (NESN), 4:30 on Saturday (NESN+).

Will depend on how many games actually get played. May need to become league games in the future like UConn is.

Tough results on the scoreboard but this team should be top 10 all year. Looks like York has BC back. Umass won’t give up a 10 spot for a series rest of the year. Goalie tandem is too good. Quite a few defensive lapses both games. The offense at least kept skating and putting pressure on BC goalie. It’s fun to watch a well coached Umass team compete.
