Sun Belt schools to play original 12-game schedules, including 8 conference games, sources told @Stadium. 1st report by @Keff_C. Teams not required to, but may replace canceled nonconference games as needed.

Time to get some Sun Belt schools on the line

Today was the scheduled first day of training camp. Did it happen?
I know there are set times before your first game that you can begin camp, so the UConn game is still on, so they can start camp, correct?

UConn cancels season

Easy as pie, UConn already cancelled their season. We need to play and win.

^ Notre Dame was scheduled to play Western Mich. Wouldn't that be a great pickup for UMass.

UMass football shouldn’t play a down this fall. The NBA and NHL seem to have things under control playing in a bubble. The MLB is trying to travel as usual and it’s a mess. Unless there’s some plan to have every D1 team still competing in a bubble somewhere with Multiple fields so they can all play on Saturdays, it isn’t gonna work.
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

Leave the A-10!

Looks like everything is likely postponed.

The fact that UMass is being a follower rather than a leader in this situation is somewhat reprehensible. I think the biggest fear that schools like UMass have of cancelling football is the fact that the old line of "alumni support will go down the toilet if there is no football" will be proven false. It might be true at Alabama, not in Amherst.

I have a feeling everybody will pull the plug by the end of this week. No president wants to be liable for something bad that might happen.

They will cancel, but not until everyone else has... specifically the SEC. They have 2 million reasons to make sure they don't announce before Auburn does.
