Wooosh. And like that COVID-19 was gone. SJW's defeated science. It's impressive.

Why is it gone?

Really, you've seen protests from right wing groups in every city that number in the hundreds of thousands that resulted in millions of dollars of damage during a supposed deadly pandemic that we are all supposed to be socially distancing from one another? C'mon, you can't scapegoat the right for all of the nonsense happening over the last 7 days. There was a lockdown until it was politically convenient for these liberal mayors and governors to ignore said lockdown/stay at home/socially distancing mandates. Marty Walsh and Baker are embarrassing themselves right now.
Quann wrote: Mon May 18, 2020 12:08 pm The best way to support people is by letting them go back to work. Not happening in this state though.
This guy right here Quann right here, a few weeks ago, complaining about Dems and Libs, calling for an end to the stay at home order so people can go back to work and live freely. And now what does he do, complains again, making it political, with the complete opposite opinion.

More American folks have died from COVID-19 than Vietnam War, Gulf War, 9/11, Afghanistan War, Iraq War, Hurricane Katrina, and Swine flu, combined

Are you tired of all that winning yet? And what does this guy do, consistently come on this board to fucking complain and complain like the little bitch that he is about democrats and liberals. Look in the mirror man, you are making no change yourself.

Why is there a curfew for protesting but there was never a curfew for Covid when Doctors around the nation begged for one??????? Answer me that.

In regards to the recent protests, NO ONE wants this to be happening, it pains all of our hearts. However, we must see change in the systematic failure that we have seen over and over again. I'm sure none of your attention is on that and all your little minds focus on is looting (which is wrong, I don’t agree with looting) but you don' t see the bigger picture.
You are one low life loser. I couldn't imagine being 39 and being who you are, you are the complete opposite of what a young successful man wants to be in the future. You provide nothing for this board. I hope you fail, and you go down with your little business. Sorry for the peaceful, Western Mass folks here, but the New York in me would eat this guy alive in person.

Quann, hope the rest of your day is just as pleasant as you are.

Enjoy your day bud. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of telling people to stay at home for two months but then saying screw it and letting tens of thousands of people get together to congregate shoulder to shoulder while we’re still not allowed to sit in a restaurant. If you can’t see the irony in that I truly feel bad for you.

You seem like a real pleasant fellow wishing personal failure on a fellow UMie for disagreeing about something on a message board. Very rational people do that from what I hear. But as you said you are from NY, so being a pompous blowhard is probably just in your nature 🤣

My God your a moron he said.

Oh that is just gold; doesn’t know the difference between your and you’re and is calling others morons.

It blows my mind that these two peanut brains think that they are intellectual or intelligent in the slightest sense.

On the other hand, while these boneheads here keep saying their bullshit, everyone stays silent. Your silence is deafening. UMass Basketball fanbase, as dreadful as they come; old folks who are still afraid to stick up for what’s right, letting the idiots be our voice. Why would you want the voice of UMass to become these clowns? And then we complain ayyy where the young fans at? You guys chase them away because you don’t even try to relate. I know many ex-fans who hold that opinion. The fanbase decreases and gets worse each and every year.

Please save your embarrassment. You’ve done enough damage to yourself. Try to better yourself - go outside for once, enjoy the sun, go on a nice walk or read a book. I know these things are new to you, but I have faith in you buddy.

Lock it up, Mike. I started this with good intentions, I swear. It's devolved to some really pathetic shit now and nothing to do with the original topic of discussion.

Ah I see, so the guys here wearing tin foil hats can express their opinions for months; despite the fact they were posting incorrect facts, trying to instigate & divide the folks here in a politically influenced rage. But when I call them out for it, we should lock it up? That’s the boomer way!

I should not put all in the same category. I have been posting here all throughout my 20’s and I will say there are in fact 2 individuals here that I have seen help out others and act like true role models towards their peers; folks that the youth would look up to: harbo and Old Cage.

No, you've been acting like an asshole, just like them, in this thread since March. My post wasn't just about you.

Isn't the point of this message board to post your thoughts about topics? We're definitely not going to all agree, but nowhere in any of my posts did I not stay civil or take personal shots. Inthescoop only likes it if you post opinions and political thoughts when they line up with his. When you don't, he goes for the jugular and sends you very personal attacks like a rabid dog. I kept my posts about COVID-19, the protests and gatherings are very directly related.

I know the difference.. im.. oh I mean I'm typing on my phone. My main point still stands. We have been locked down. People were told to shut their business and don't earn a living. I know your opinion differs from mine and that's ok. I can still think your wrong and respect you at the same time. Unfortunately we have devolved into a place where the only opinion that counts is yours. By that I don't mean yours personally, just the person stating the opinion.

As many of you know my son works for the MGM casino in Vegas. Yesterday he had to go for 8 hours of virus training and is returning to work this afternoon. He works the second shift. He said that they had originally intended to open up 25 % but with the demand for rooms they are going to open up at 50 %. A lot of the other casinos are also opening up today. We are going out on the 30th to celebrate our grand daughters 1st B day on July 5th.
